Talk about a “pretty mess.” Erika Jayne was spotted minding her own business during a work out in Los Angeles this week, during the same time that her personal items and memorabilia are being auctioned off to help pay for her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s bankruptcy case. Here’s what you need to know.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star is just realizing how “XXPENSIVE” life can be, now that she is dealing with a divorce and legal troubles stemming from her estranged husband’s law firm. But she was spotted finishing a work out after reports indicated that the law firm her husband worked at was selling her memorabilia in order to pay creditors in his ongoing bankruptcy case.

Some of the items up for auction include signed magazine covers, framed photos of the former couple along with the Billboard plaque for her 2009 track “Roller Coaster.”
Meanwhile, reports say that Tom is pleading the fifth, as he will not testify at the Lion Air hearing. According to Page Six, Girardi signed an affidavit on Aug. 6, that he would follow the advice of his counsel and invoke his “constitutional right to stay silent.”
His hearing is scheduled for mid-September. He and his reality star wife were first sued by Edelson PC, a class-action firm, on behalf of the victims in December for allegedly embezzling funds meant for the orphans and widows of the accident through their “sham” divorce.
During the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly hills, Erika was in tears when she recounted her husband’s scandal. She also said she couldn’t believe all of the rumors suggesting her split from Tom was a way to hide their money.
