NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we’ve had some huge drama between Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerrigel). The explosion was huge, and now Sami has been nabbed by someone. Who did it? Let’s take a look at what’s happened and what we think.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Think, Lucas!
First, we have to give a shoutout to Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo). Props on going to the DiMera mansion to protect Sami from the potentially dangerous EJ. However, we can’t with his foolish side. He really thought Sami would be forgiving of him, or want anything to do with him. His excuse of being “curious” reeks of childishness at best, a lie at worst.
Lucas knew there was a letter out there that could prove their affair. When he saw a letter in the fireplace, what was there to be curious about? Anyone who knew the situation as well as he did should’ve known she was burning the infamous letter Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) wrote.
Let’s say we buy he was that naïve. The fact he didn’t immediately destroy it, and shared the information with Philip proves that no matter what he says, he wanted this to happen.
Somewhere deep inside, he had to know the letter existing was a threat, especially if more knew about it. And the fact the person he shared this with is the head of a rival company? Well, it doesn’t take a genius to see that Philip was going to do whatever he thought best.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Not so fast!
While ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate EJ kicked Sami out after learning the truth, Sami wasn’t worried. She knows that Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) is the only one who can legally kick her out. And she knows that Gabi’s sympathetic to her. So, she figured informing Gabi would solve that problem and give her a chance to win back EJ. She might want to think again.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kidnapped!
At the end of the Wednesday episode, Sami was grabbed by a mysterious figure outside Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) place. She, as we mentioned, wanted Gabi to okay her staying at the mansion. Some are saying Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) did it, but we think it’s EJ for several reasons.
One, Sami made it clear DiMera men go to extremes when their women stray. So, a kidnapping would hardly be out of line. And from the little we did read about them (and Sami said Wednesday), there’s a history of extremes for both of them.
Two, Ava was mad, sure. She thought Sami needed payback. However, she seemed proud and satisfied when Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) mentioned she already got revenge. And third of all, we don’t know where she’d have the opportunity, even if she thought Sami deserved more. She had no clue of the situation before going to Nicole’s. After, she was either with both Nicole and Rafe, or Rafe.
As for EJ, he quickly got Kristen’s number and told her what happened. During the conversation, he mentioned he has plans for Sami. He was alone for quite a bit and would have had plenty of motive to hire someone or do it himself. Especially since Sami was refusing to cooperate and leave.
And he knew exactly where she was going. So, he (or someone he sent after her) seems the most likely choice. We’ll see what happens. But with Sweeney exiting the show soon, we think it’ll be a while before this is all resolved.
