Jana Kramer has backed Mike Caussin to be there for their kids, despite the fact that the pair have finalised their divorce.
Jana Kramer: Mike Caussin Is ‘A Great Dad’
The duo decided to part ways after Mike continued to cheat on Jana. While she forgave him on countless occasions, Mike did not learn his lesson, which led to the break-up of the family unit. And yet, they have remained united for the sake of their kids in order to give them a sense of normality.
By the looks of it, things could not be going any better in that regard. During an Instagram Q&A session with her fans, Jana said: “Of course. Mike’s a great dad, will always be a great dad. It’s one of his best qualities, and yeah, they have a great relationship with him.”
Jana has come a long way since she first discussed the idea of co-parenting. She initially admitted that she wanted to see the back of Mike and wished that he could just disappear into the distance. The actress went on to explain how she initially told Mike she could not do co-parenting during one of his visits to the house due to the pain it was causing her.
Having said all that, she has managed to iron out her differences. She added: “My ex is a great dad, and that will never change. And we have to separate how we feel about each other around them. It’s hard but best to be happy around our kids.” That is not to say that she is not hurting.
Far from it, but Jana has managed to achieve a balance that has aided her relationship with Mike. She has been open about having more time off amid her split for social occasions, as well as focusing on her acting career. This foundation has given new vigour to her life.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I have good days. I have bad days. I have angry days. But I will say that I’m a happier mom now, so that’s been nice.” It is wonderful to see Jana doing so well, and we wish her the best in the future.
