Jana, for her part, decided to walk away from Mike following his latest act of infidelity. While she had forgiven him on numerous occasions for his cheating, this was the final straw. And looking back, she has no regrets as she has moved forward with a bigger focus on her career.
A source said: “She’s focusing on her new project that she’s filming now and of course focusing on being a mom. Her kids make her happy, and she’s glad to have them along with her on set for the time being.” Jana’s latest project is entitled ‘Soccer Mom Madam.’
In this show, she plays a character who sets up an escort service for some of the wealthiest women in the country. At the same time, she is a single mother and manages to keep this a secret from her children. And by all accounts, the show has been a hit. The success has also allowed Jana to enjoy some well-earned time off with her family.
The source added: “[She is] spending a lot of time with [the kids] in between takes and after filming when the day wraps. She’s enjoying being in a new environment and being back to set life.” As for the terms of the divorce, Jana at least knows what she is expected to do.
According to reports, she is set to pay Mike $3,200 every month in order to carry out her child support duties. Although that may have put an end to the financial consequences, co-parenting has still not been easy. After all, Jana had done everything in her power to make sure that her family did not break up.
In a prior interview with the ‘Unzipped’ podcast, she remarked: “It’s still super hard. It’s still, like, I’m gonna have to deal with him for the rest of my life. I wish we could just be, like, ‘All right, peace out.’ Like, ‘Great knowing you. You do you.’ [But] we have kids that essentially bind us.” Let us hope Jana can find some happiness in the future.
