Julia Hennessy Cayuela was a 22 year-old influencer from Brazil. She died tragically in a motorcycle accident on July 15 and her fans were shocked by it all. She had been traveling around Brazil on a motorcycle, accompanied by her husband, Daniel Cayuela.
The accident took place in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, which is in Southern Brazil. When the couple went to changed lanes, they were hit by a large truck while driving in the mountains. She had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital and died after she went into cardiac arrest.

Daniel Cayuela was also injured in the accident, but his injuries were not as severe and he is still recovering from multiple surgeries. Julia’s stepfather told her fans, “We are desolate, in shock, a very difficult time. Julia was my daughter since she was six. We are suffering.”
Daniel and Julia have been married for about four years and they took to social media to show off their lives. They both love to travel and became quite the online sensation after sharing all of their adventures together. They shared their home renovations and their travels across Brazil on their motorcycle.
Some of their fans thought that it was risky to ride the motorcycle across the country, but they didn’t let it get them down. They took the world by storm and loved the adventures they took together. By looking at their accounts, it does seem as if they were adrenaline junkies.
The last post that Julia wrote on Instagram feels incredibly ominous now. She wrote, “Life if short, let’s be crazy. Me, You, God and the road! Your dreams are mine too.” She tagged her husband in the post and they are standing next to their motorcycle and wearing matching helmets and pants. In Daniel’s post, he wrote that they had planned on going to “descent the serpent and graceful mountain range.”
Her fans were quick to react after hearing about her death. One wrote, “I’m not believing this!! That creepy caption!! You inspired me so much.. you had a zest for life.. so young and so mature. I can’t believe this! Really, the good ones leave early. I’m devastated.”
Daniel’s fans continue to post on his Instargam as well and hope that he has a speedy recover. They are all sending him healing prayers and energy as he gets through this incredibly tough time in life.
