Well, he can’t blame Meghan Markle on this one, can he? Prince William along with his wife Kate Middleton and their son Prince George became a Twitter meme for their reaction after Italy managed to clinch the Euro 2020 Championship Title after a nail-biting penalty shoot-out against England. Soon after the game was over, the Duke of Cambridge called the loss “heartbreaking.”
While Prince Harry is yet to say anything about the loss (perhaps he was too busy feeding the chickens in his coop at his multi-million dollar California mansion), his brother William made it no secret that England’s loss to Italy is perhaps the second worst things to happen to him this year, following Harry and Meghan’s seismic interview with Oprah Winfrey.

But before England’s loss, little Prince George expressed a joyful reaction to England’s early goal during the match, laughing wildly while looking at his father and clapping. He hugged both his parents in a celebratory manner.
Italy won the European Championship for the second time by beating England 3-2 on penalties on Sunday. The match finished 1-1 after extra time.
It was less than four years ago that the Italians plunged to the lowest moment of its soccer history by failing to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in six decades. Now, they are the best team in Europe while England was playing in its first major final in 55 years.
This is Italy’s second continental title after 1968, to add to the country’s four World Cups. Now, whether or not Prince George is plotting to invade Italy in due time, remains to be seen.
