‘Counting On’ Spoilers indicate that, aside from Josh Duggar, you really don’t see mention of any of the Duggar boys amidst this scandal, and there’s tons of them to spare, but you just don’t hear from them – at all. None of them have commented on anything their brother did. When the initial scandal broke in 2015, one of the Duggar boys had said that the hardest thing he had ever done was tell Josh that he didn’t aspire to be like him any more, but where is that guy now? Nowhere to be found.
Recently one of the Duggar sons made a political bid in their home state of Arkansas and lost miserably during the big blue wave election that we had in 2020, but even that son didn’t say anything about his brother’s trangressions, and as far as we know he still wants to be in politics.
Where are the Duggar sons?
So why are they silent? Some people say that Jim Bob could be telling them to keep silent, that he could be the reason that none of the boys have spoken up about what Josh has done. The only ones who have made any kind of statements so far are Josh’s victims, the four sisters. (The unnamed babysitter has yet to ever be found.) None of the other siblings have said anything, not even the ones who are married and are of age to do so.
The second reason could be the fact that they’re afraid to say anything because they’ll be forced to testify against their brother and it looks like, judging from Jim Bob’s staunch defense for Josh all these years that the family is loyal to one another to a fault.
It could also be that Jim Bob has told the boys that if they say anything he’ll cut the purse strings and stop paying them for being on the show, which might even be more of a motivator than family loyalty because as we all know, Jim Bob is the holder of that contract and he pays all the participants of Duggartown, since some of the boys have families they might just be keeping their mouths shut so they can continue to support them. So, is it a case of family loyalty or did it all come down to money in the end? Stay tuned!!!
