‘Counting On’: Jeremy Vuolo Speaks On How His Arrest Made Him A Better Man

While it has been an age since that has happened, the valuable lessons he learned enabled him to transition into his marriage with Jinger Duggar. In an interview with Us Weekly, Jeremy stated how that incident forced him to change his life. He said: “I was just kind of on a path of hanging out with people that had the wrong idea of where they were going.

“It was a huge wake-up call.” Jeremy, for his part, was arrested after he had reportedly harassed a police officer. It all occurred in 2008, while he was a student drinking at a bar. But after having too much alcohol, Jeremy began to become very rowdy. He ended up grabbing a police officer, and had it not been for outside intervention, things may have gotten out of hand.

Fortunately, the punishment was not as severe as it could have been. Jeremy was ordered to pay a fine of up to $250. That moment taught him that he needed to re-evaluate his faith. He added: “The biggest thing was me having to come face-to-face with the reality that if I was going to call myself a Christian, I needed to live for Christ and not for me.

“if I was gonna keep living for myself, I needed to not call myself a Christian.” Things were not helped further, as Jeremy began to hide these issues from his family. He could not admit that he may have had a drinking problem, and as a result, his relationship with his family broke down. However, since his marriage, things could not be going any better.

The couple have been married since 2016 and share two children together: Felicity and Evangeline. Even though Jeremy’s arrest occurred prior to meeting Jinger, those lessons have taught him the importance of maintaining strong family ties. That is why he has made it a priority to open up in his relationship as much as possible.

It is great to see Jeremy developing, and we wish him the best in his life with Jinger. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit TVRocker for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favourite daytime television soaps.
