Caila Quinn has opened up on how she almost ended up getting a chance to appear on The Bachelorette.

Caila, for her part, was in the running for the 12th season of the show. Although she would later go on to lose out to JoJo Fletcher, it could have been an entirely different story. In an interview on the Here for the Right Reasons podcast, Caila revealed how she had no regrets over how it panned out. She said: “It was so long ago.
“But at the end of the day, it worked out. And you know what, I was so young at the time.” So how close was Caila to being on the show? By all accounts, the only thing that they needed was a signed contract. She admitted to undertaking various costume fittings and being flown out to meet the producers of the show.
With so much effort being undertaken for Caila, it has left fans with the question of what could have been. Neverthless, Caila had no hard feelings towards Jojo. She added: “I tried on a couple of dresses and gowns that JoJo [Fletcher] wore on her season. I was like, ‘That blue dress looks good on you, girl!.” That is not to say that she did not find some difficulties with watching Jojo.
And this was due to the career that Jojo has formed since the show. She has become a successful TV host and has many shows to her name. She has appeared on other Bachelor shows and hosted a property development show entitled Cash Pad on CBS. Who is to say that Caila could not have had a similar journey.
She continued: “You have this moment where you pause, and you’re like, ‘Whoa, I mean…that could have been my life.’ So it’s kind of crazy.” It has been made all the more intriguing as Caila admitted that the producers had filmed her in preparation for this role.
Sadly, though, it does not look like it will be released anytime soon. She noted: “I wish they would share the footage because we had, like, 100 of my Filipino family together.”
