Zac Clark has recalled a story in which his mother (Beatrice Clark) stopped following his fiancee Tayshia Adams on Instagram.

Such a thing is not going to go down well, especially when there are continuous rumours surrounding the future of their relationship. From the outset, they have had to deny that they are splitting up. Even the prospect of a potential wedding does not seem to be dampening down the alleged flames of discontent. So this story did not help.

During an interview on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Zac spoke on the moment he had a heart to heart with his mother. He said: “There was some s–t with my mom. My mom is 70 years old, loves a glass of Chardonnay. I call her, and I’m like, ‘Mom, what’s going on? Why did you unfollow Tayshia?’ And she’s like, ‘I didn’t unfollow her.”

So was this a case of a misunderstanding or simply a lie on Beatrice’s part? Well, as is the case with social media, the continual bombardment of messages can get the best of anyone. And with Tayshia, the buzz surrounding her will only continue given her new role as host of the Bachelorette. Chris Harrison’s departure has thrown the spotlight on her, regardless of whether she wants it.

And the pressure of that spread to Zack’s mother. He added: “Tayshia has this podcast, ‘Click Bait.’ She said, ‘I just kept getting all these things for Click Bait, and I didn’t know what to do. She probably did it accidentally, but you know, these people are out there, sourcing this s–t all day long.” But this should come as no surprise, as fans will always remain fickle.

But if Zac’s substance abuse issues were not enough to break their relationship, then a mere Instagram blunder is hardly going to do anything. That is precisely how Zac saw it. He continued: “It’s always great to be loved, but at the end of the day, we are in a relationship with each other, so all that noise and all that drama doesn’t really matter.”

It is great to see Zac enjoying his life and long may that continue. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit TVRocker for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favourite daytime television soaps.
