The Bachelor franchise continues to throw up more drama, with the rumours that Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell could be giving their relationship another chance.

The duo called it quits after Rachael felt she was misled into thinking that Matt was still interested in her. As he was meeting Rachael for what she perceived to be ‘reconciliation’ talks, another woman (Grace) let slip that Matt was seeing her behind Rachael’s back. But the guilt of it all caused Matt to reach out.
A source said: “It’s true they have been in Cali together and have been staying at a friend’s house. Matt felt bad about what happened between him and Rachael, and so he reached out to her saying he wanted to see her.” So how did Rachael respond to the olive branch? Well, she took it immediately and was very receptive to Matt. Both of them, for their part, made major errors.
Rachael’s social media posts were clearly not very appropriate, while Matt’s conduct in the aftermath of the scandal raised questions as to whether he deserved Rachael. But it seems Rachael will give him one more chance. The source added: “Rachael wanted to hear him out, and since then, they’ve had a chance to talk about it and work it out. Her feelings hadn’t gone away overnight.”
That is not to say that they are a couple, though. But it is an improvement from the past couple of weeks. They were reportedly no longer on speaking terms. Rachael was even spotted at a wedding as she wanted to distance herself from the very thought of Matt. Just as they should have talked things over, from the start, they have albeit belatedly adopted this approach now.
The source continued: “They aren’t a couple again. They are just working through things. Only the two of them know the whole story. There have been different stories put out there, but they were never officially together.” There is a real prospect that they could get back together. After all, Dale Moss and Clare Crawley did it when that seemed impossible. We will have to see how this will play out.
