Drew Brees made an exciting announcement on Instagram tonight, telling us that there was a ribbon-cutting today in North Baton Rouge for the second Ochsner Community Health – Brees Family Center location!
The first was opened in New Orleans East and the new facility will begin seeing patients on Thursday already! Not only is this the second facility, but there are more locations coming soon! This is just part of a $5 million gift!

“A ribbon cutting was held today with @OchsnerHealth to mark the completion of the second Ochsner Community Health – Brees Family Center location! Our first center opened in New Orleans East, and this facility will start seeing patients on Thursday in North Baton Rouge at 7855 Howell Blvd.
We are just getting started with more locations coming soon! This is part of a $5 million gift that will support the startup and operational costs for facilities offering healthcare services in underserved areas in Louisiana.”

Brees just retired but is already hard at work to keep improving the area that has given so much to him and his family. What a wonderful thing for him to do and we hope that he stays the same great guy he’s always been.
