‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers tease that actor Matthew Atkinson has been making a lot of waves as Thomas Forrester ever since he stepped into the role earlier this year. And while there’s no doubt that Matthew has done a great job by amping up the creepiness factor in his character, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder just how the previous Thomas, actor Pierson Fode, would have done with the character. A lot of fans were surprised when Pierson announced a few years back that he would be leaving The Bold and the Beautiful. After all, he was perfect for the role: handsome, broody, talented and most importantly, he had a lot of chemistry with his soap co-stars.
But because Pierson wanted to look for opportunities outside of the daytime television world, producers were forced to find a replacement for him. The Bold and the Beautiful fans were delighted to see Matthew Atkinson take over. And from what he has proven to us so far, he’s a great actor who knows how to play the “sweet and endearing” card just right by also coming off as dangerous and obsessive. In other words, he’s given Thomas Forrester two different personalities that mesh perfectly into one.

With that said, there are a lot of fans who absolutely miss seeing Pierson and think that he would definitely have an edge over Matthew. Of course, both actors are incredibly talented but only one can play Thomas Forrester perfectly, right?
