‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers: Ben & Ciara Hit Roadblock – CIN in Limbo!
After catching Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) in a lip-lock and ultimately giving her blessing to a relationship between them, it’s off to lunch with Ben.
They choose Brady’s Pub, where Ciara apologizes to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) for being so absent. He’s cool, but he has decided that this isn’t going to work. He knows Ciara’s heart isn’t in the job and fires her. He hopes he’ll see more of her now that she’s not working there. Ha! Later, she and Ben discuss how their futures are both in limbo since Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is charged with kidnapping. Looks like Will Horton (Chandler Massey) isn’t the only one who’ll be doing some soul-searching in the coming days and weeks.

‘Days of Our Live’ (DOOL) Spoilers: Playing it carefully
One thing that’s on Ben’s agenda is seeing his nephew. He goes by Rafe’s place today and asks how things went with Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley). Unfortunately, her mind hasn’t changed regarding Ben’s place in David’s life. Rafe says that once he is legally David’s guardian, they can revisit the issue. He just doesn’t want to do anything that will risk getting the child. The two chat about the baby a bit before Ben leaves. He’d tried to at least get a quick peek at the kid, but Rafe is still not taking any chances.

Meanwhile, Gabi and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) are fighting over his briefcase. She’s positive that Xander has something in there she doesn’t want to see. She’s right, as he’s got the Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) mask in there. She ultimately ends up kneeing him and stealing the briefcase before racing home.

She’s trying to open the briefcase when Rafe walks in on her. She pretends like it’s hers and she can’t open it, but Rafe doesn’t believe her. He says she’d never be caught dead with a briefcase like that. Busted, she confesses what really happened. He tells her he won’t help because anything that is found in there would be “fruit from the poison tree” and inadmissible. He advises her to just return the briefcase, and she relents. While looking for Xander, she comes across Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and shoves the briefcase in his hands, asking him to give it to Xander when he sees him. He’s confused, but she tells him he really doesn’t want to know.

Earlier, Brady had another problem. He came out of his shower clad in a towel and finds Not-Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) going through his stuff. She pretends that she was trying to find the girl’s room when she got turned around. Since she’s there and he’s looking good to her, Not-Susan decides to go for it and practically jumps Brady. Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) walk in on it and try to rescue Brady, but they fail. Brady ultimately has to turn her down a few times very firmly before she backs off.

Why were they there? They’d found a gun in Not-Susan’s purse and doubted she should have it. With her history, they don’t believe her when they confront her and she claims to have a permit. Worried about how she’s acting and the legality of her possession, they eventually talk her into letting them hold on to it until she’s able to provide proof she’s legally allowed to have it.

After her encounters with Brady, Will, and Sonny, Not-Susan makes her way to the Park of Discovery to meet with Xander. There, she demands he hand over the Nicole mask. As luck would have it, the real Susan has come to town and showed up at Casa Kiriakis. Sonny and Will once again answer the door to her, looking completely lost. This is going to get crazy…
