‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’ spoilers find that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) seemed to soften to Thomas this week as he sacrificed his own happiness to inform her that his childhood friend, Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) had switched Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby-daddy DNA test.
Fans began to see, as did Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), that if only he had told the truth all along, he may have gotten much closer to Hope than where all his scheming got him. But the cynic in us can’t help
but wonder if this still isn’t all an elaborate scheme, and Vinny is in on it.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: The Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) Redemption…Is It All A Lie?
Hear us out. First of all, the DNA switch could have been a sensational storyline, but even residents in Genoa city could have seen it coming. Bradley Bell took to Soap Opera Digest to build up the DNA switch ‘twist’ but Bell has been in this biz far too long to leave his audiences dissatisfied with the fizzle we’ve seen on our screens so far. Which leaves us wondering (hoping) if that promised ‘big twist’ is still to come.
Purely from a storyline standpoint, we only saw Vinny ‘admit’ to switching the test results once Dr. John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) got involved. How convenient that Thomas and Vinny were yelling loud enough for the Hot Doc to overhear them. Is anyone going to re-do the test and observe it from start-to-finish. It’s doubtful.
Vinny has claimed time and again he’d do anything for his BFF, like take the fall for a fake switcheroo so Thomas can become the hero? Spoilers say it works on Brooke who begins to sing Thomas’ praises. A huge turn around from just a month, heck, a day ago.
With her mother in her ear, could Hope begin to see Thomas in the light he so desperately wants? Sure, the baby may not be Hope’s husband, Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton), but that doesn’t negate Liam’s cheating ways.
Only time will tell if Thomas really has changed his ways (and if so, we will owe him a huge apology) or if he has come up with a bigger, better and far more brutal scheme. If it is the later (and we hope it is), please don’t leave is lingering for another year for a resolution…but we won’t be mad if little Douglas Forrester (Henry Samir) is the one to ‘out’ his devilish dad yet again!
