‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that the secret is out in the open, Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) was beaten by Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) into admitting he switched the results of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) Daddy-DNA test.
And yet, its still only Vinny, Finn and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) who are sitting on this information.
Friday’s episode went from annoying to infuriating for fans to watch as Thomas fled to Hope Logan’s house and Finn ran off to stop Steffy from boarding a plane to Maternity Leave (aka Paris).
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Fans Survive the Most Annoying Half Hour of Their Lives.
And yet both men spent a half hour saying a bajillion words yet still not disclosing the newly discovered everyone-saw-it-coming-but-the-actors news that Finn is the baby-daddy.
Thomas set about confusing Hope for 30 minutes with riddles and back-story about his friendship with Vinny while Finn rambled on for 25 minutes about not letting Steffy leave and that he loved her.
In fact. he pretty much said the same sentence 87 times, just with different words. I’m surprised the writers didn’t run out of similes and have Finn bust out in Italian to waste a little more of our time.
The final five minutes of the episode were almost saved when Finn got down on bended knee and proposed with his mother’s ring- yet he still didn’t tell Steffy he is the father! Even Luke Skywalker found out who his father was quicker than Steffy’s baby will at this stage!
Spoilers say the truth will finally be told on Monday, but fans should prepare themselves for much of the same stammering, repetition and riddles for at least part of the episode.
Here’s hoping it’s all worth it when (if?) Steffy accepts Finn’s proposal, but the way things are going, their kid will be in high school before we get there.
Watch B&B (if you dare) weekdays on CBS.
