‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for July 16th, 2019 indicate that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) may be contemplating a big move. For months, he’s not really had a good time of it. First Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) shows up and she hates his guts for reasons that he can’t really help. Then Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) reunited with his brother, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and he had to stand by and watch while that happened. He’s tired of being kicked around, so he’ll consider what life would be like if he started out somewhere new, somewhere that isn’t Salem. But will he really run? Stay tuned for that.

Meanwhile, Xander Cook (Paul Telfel) is angry at Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) because he blames her for his getting arrested. He will exact his revenge on her by stealing her Nicole mask and effectively trapping her in her room. Now, granted, this won’t keep Kristen down for very long. After all, this is the age of internet and I’m pretty sure she could access the dark web and order a new Nicole mask and even have it same-day shipped. But it will definitely disable her plans for the time being.

Oh, what a tangled web Ted weaves…
Ted Laurent (Giles Marini) will keep up the lie that he told Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) about who trapped him in the tunnels. He initially said that it was Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but Hope, ex-cop that she is, will find this awfully fishy. She will find no motive for Stefan to take both Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Ted hostage against their will and deprive them of food and water for days on end. When pressed about it, Ted will lie once more in order to get his story to line up and Hope will believe him—at least for now.

But Stefan has someone in his corner that no one counted on. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will take it upon herself to look into “Nicole”. She and Stefan already had their suspicions about Nicole and the way she was acting, but this latest development will prompt Gabi to start doing some digging and who knows what she’s going to find. Will she be the one to discover the fact that ‘Nicole’ is not who she says she is at all but is Kristen DiMera in disguise? And ultimately would she have to choose between going through with her plan to ruin Stefan and possibly outing Kristen? Stay tuned for that.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will run into each other and Brady will not hesitate to give her a piece of his mind. He knows what happened with Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and he is appalled by it. No one can really blame him there. He will blast her for enabling Claire when she was obviously mentally unstable and in a bad place, but Eve won’t be too bothered by his admonishment. She’s got too many irons in the fire. What could give Eve this much confidence? Stay tuned!!
