British Royal Family News find that even though there are plenty of royal fans and critics on both sides of the pond who are going to be paying a whole lot of attention to what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have to say during their interview with Oprah Winfrey, it looks like there are some people who have no interest in tuning in.

Actually, make that some people and the BBC as the network apparently has no interest in the interview. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal Family News: The BBC Apparently Has No Interest In Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Oprah Interview

According to Britain’s The Daily Express, even though there are several networks that are vying for the rights to air Oprah’s Harry and Meghan interview in the UK, the BBC is not one of them.

Although sources say Meghan wanted the 90-minute special to be broadcasted on the BBC, one tipster claims the corporation was not involved in the fierce bid war for international rights. The source said: “We’re not going to pull out the checkbook for that.”

Instead of airing the “tell-all” interview, the BBC will broadcast a Commonwealth Day celebration.

While Oprah’s big interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to air on March 7th, it looks like half of Britons will be watching anything but them on their small screen, according to  Britain’s The Sun.

If that weren’t enough, about a third of those surveyed also say that their feelings about Harry and Meghan have gone downhill since they left the UK last year.

What’s more, 43 percent wanting the two to make their split with the royal family permanent and just 27 percent of those surveyed said they want to watch Oprah’s sit-down with Harry and Meghan.
