‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, July 2 indicate that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will awaken from his Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) induced roofie feeling a little strange. He partied really hard the night before with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) , much to the chagrin of Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). And now the drugs have worn off and he feels pretty awful about what he did, he doesn’t like the way things ended between him and Hope. Even if he harbors feelings for Steffy deep down (excuse me while I shake my fist at the sky), now he begins carefully weighing his options and wanting to talk to Steffy about what happened and what they should do going forward.

Thomas is so proud of himself. He’s managed to pretty much permanently sink the S.S. Lope with this horrible little trick of his. Gotta say, Thomas, you are racking up some terrible karma here. What’s it gonna be when Hope finds out about all this, hm?

And this is soap opera country, so even if he does get her temporarily chances are she will find out about how he did it and when she does… well, I don’t pity Thomas, that’s for sure. I would hate to know that I had to gaslight someone into having feelings for me, but that just proves how much of a psychopath Thomas truly is. He doesn’t care as long as he gets what he wants in the end, a new wife out of Hope and a new Mom for Douglas Forrester. (Henry Joseph Samiri)

Speaking of little Douglas, Daddy has plans for him. He’ll pitch the idea of Hope becoming his new Mom, and of course since Douglas already legit loves Hope, he will be excited and say yes. He doesn’t realize that his Dad is a raging psychopath. (Anybody feel sorry for this kid? I do.) So Dad, decides to fill Douglas in on what his next move will be.
Apparently he is going to propose to Hope, but that is going to require a bit of cooperation from little Douglas. Thomas is going to feed him the lines and let him propose to Hope for him, and if Douglas succeeds, then he has a new Mom and Dad is happy. But what if he doesn’t succeed? What will that mean for little Douglas? Will Thomas take it out on him? Stay tuned!
