‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that there’s no doubt that there have been plenty of fans who have expressed their dismay at the baby story line that is currently being played out on B&B. This is why executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell promises viewers that this summer is going to be full of so much drama that they will have to hold on to their seats. Here’s what you need to know.
The Bold and the Beautiful Executive Producer Opens Up About Baby Storyline; What’s Gonna Happen In The Next Weeks?
As a matter of fact, Bell is well aware of everyone’s frustrations but says that there’s no need to worry. Why? Because it’s only a matter of time now before Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) finds out that her baby is alive and well. But before that happens, there’s going to be some serious action before everything unfolds.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Bell says that while he understands that people are upset, he sees that it’s a “good upset.” He realizes that people simply want someone to end Hope’s suffering as it’s gone on for too long now. Bell also points out that with a lot of television shows these days, the plot and storyline runs pretty fast, especially if there’s only 12 episodes in a season. But with daytime television, it doesn’t work that way. Bell says that he wants everything to develop in great detail. And before long, fans will end up watching the show while sitting at the edge of their seats.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) Spoilers: Takeaways From Bell
Bell also hints that fans shouldn’t miss one episode of The Bold and the Beautiful this summer. That’s because there’s so much that is going to go on that you’re not going to want to miss one minute of it. And yes, Hope will get her baby back at the end of the day. But before that happens, quite a few people are going to have to pay a hefty price because of it! Based on our understanding, the baby swap conclusion will happen late summer/fall.
The good thing of Bell’s interview is that the writers are at least aware of fan perception of the baby swap story angle and seem to want to do right by the viewers. And maybe, just maybe, Thomas Forrester wasn’t such a bad addition to the show, as much as fans seem to hate and despise him.
Yes, he’s a sinister creep, but the baby swap storyline has never felt more potent than in recent times, after Thomas’ involvement. Which is to say that maybe had Jacqueline MacInnes Wood had never gone on maternity leave, this might have been the baby swap storyline we would have gotten from the get go.
