‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be continuing on with her plans with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) even without Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) there. This has become quite an interesting storyline, even more so now that Boaz isn’t with the show. So, how the heck do they plan on doing this?
I really don’t understand why they’re not killing off or replacing the character. It seems so odd to me to leave him in limbo. Unless they’re leaving the door open for him to return? We still don’t know all the details of what caused the issue on the show, so can it be resolved?
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Abby Continuing Her Plans Without Chance – Will He Return After All?
There’s been plenty of backlash against the show for getting rid of Boaz, and even petitions reaching 10,000 signatures to bring him back. Fans want Boaz back, they like him, and continuing this storyline of Abby starting a family on her own seems forced.
Her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), while he said the words he was excited for her put out a different vibe with his actions and he seemed opposed to the idea of her starting a family without Chance.
I hope they find some way to bring Boaz back as Chance. It feels like they left the door open, and we can only hope he comes back. Assuming he doesn’t, we have a few things that could happen. He dies on his mission or is replaced by Ordway’s real-life husband again. I don’t like either of these.
