Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather has officially been postponed. A spokesperson for Mayweather told TMZ and said it was because of “COVID and other things”. The source wouldn’t go into details about the COVID situation but said Floyd and Logan are working to reschedule the fight as soon as possible.
Originally, the exhibition fight was set for next month, on February 20 as a Pay-Per-View event. With it being an exhibition, the fight would not count on either of their professional records.
The fight has been in consideration for a long time, and made official in December, but looks like February is a bit too soon due to restrictions. Though this may be a cover for something else, perhaps one of them wasn’t ready for the exhibition or was fighting COVID themselves quietly. That’s just speculation but they knew in December the restrictions that would be set, so it seems like an odd time to postpone it.

Floyd Mayweather is widely recognized as one of the greatest boxers of all-time and boasts a 50-0 record. Logan Paul on the other hand is 0-1 in his professional career but seemed confident he would stand a chance against Mayweather.
Dana White of the UFC recently said that Paul was completely out of his league saying, “this is gonna be such a 10-sided ridiculous ass whoopin’, it’s not even gonna be funny.”
There’s no news on the rescheduled event yet, but with both of them working hard on it, we should expect a date announcement soon.
Even with Paul’s enormous size advantage against Mayweather, I don’t see how he would stand a chance against the boxing legend. Though, it will definitely make for an interesting event.
