While there were a lot of people who felt like pulling the plugs on their relationship during their quarantine together, for Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, it was quite the opposite. As a matter of fact, the now ex-couple didn’t realize that they didn’t have much in common until after they were doing with their quarantine.
In fact, there’s a new report that suggests Ben and Ana realized that their lives were going in opposite directions the moment things began to pick up after the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic. Here’s what you need to know.
Ben Affleck And Ana de Armas Realized They Didn’t Have Much In Common After Their Quarantine Ended
Even though Ben and Ana certainly did provide a lot of entertainment for fans with their not-at-all staged paparazzi photos, something just didn’t “click” for the couple anymore the moment they started leaving the house again for their work obligations.
“The quarantine was unique because they had downtime and really got to know each other spending time at home,” a source who knows Affleck and de Armas told The New York Post. “But once work picked up, things started to change.”
What’s more, Ana began to realize that while L.A. is the perfect place to work, it’s not a place that she wants to call home. At least, not her permanent home. But for Ben Affleck, he’s got no other place to go than Southern California as that’s where his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their three children live.
“She’s here for work reasons; like all actors, she lives wherever work takes her,” said one de Armas pal.
“Ana decided she doesn’t want to live in LA and Ben wants to be close to his family,” said the source who knows both stars, of Affleck’s three young children with ex Jennifer. “His priority is to be rooted in LA. They are in different places [in their lives].”
So far neither Ben Affleck nor Ana de Armas have made any comments about their break up.
