While there are some people who don’t mind keeping some remnants of their failed romances and relationships for keepsake purposes, it’s safe to say that Ben Affleck isn’t one of them.
Following reports that say the Hollywood actor and his girlfriend of one year, Ana de Armas, have broken up, a cardboard cutout of the actress was spotted in the trash near Ben’s house. Here’s what you need to know.
There’s nothing that says “we’ve broken up” more than throwing away a life-size cardboard cutout of your ex-girlfriend, right? It’s the same cut out that Ben’s three children – Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 8, were spotted playing with last summer.

And while Ben and Ana might no longer be holding each other’s hands and gazing into each other’s eyes during the same time they are picking up their dog’s waste during their walks, sources tell page Six that Ben and Ana are still friends. One source close to the couple said, “There is a lot of love still between the two of them.
“The split is as amicable as can be. Ana is great, but I also think there’s something to be said for the fact that Ben has a family and he really wants to be there for his kids and Ana is in a different place in her life.”
Ben and Ana also spent a lot of time with Ben’s children Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and 8-year-old Samuel — whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The source said: “It’s sad, but for Ben, his children come above everything.”
So far neither Ben Affleck nor Ana de Armas have made any comments about their break up.
