While breaking up and moving on is surely a very hard thing to do, it’s not like Ben Affleck hasn’t been in this position before, right? Well, apparently the Hollywood actor isn’t have the best of New Year’s as he just can’t get over his break up with his now ex-girlfriend, Ana de Armas. Here’s what you need to know.
As many fans know, Ben and Ana were together for well over a year and even quarantined together during the very early months of the pandemic. In fact, they seemed to be the only celebrity couple that were willing to go out and about almost every day on walks with their dogs, much to the convenience of nearby paparazzi.

And while they might not be holding each other’s hands and gazing into each other’s eyes during the same time they are picking up their dog’s waste during their walks, sources tell page Six that Ben and Ana are still friends. But of course, Ben wants to be more than just friends.
“Ben really wanted their relationship to work,” one source close to the situation told People Magazine. “Ana has a great energy. Ben was always very happy when Ana was around. She likes to stay healthy and inspired Ben to keep staying healthy too.”
Even though Ben “has been upset about the split,” the source goes on to say that he “is committed to focus on the happy things in his life.”
While no one knows exactly what happened to the couple behind closed doors, one thing is for certain: Ben isn’t going to stay single for very long. Seeing how his ex-wife Jennifer Garner managed to move on, there’s a good chance that he will too, and fast.
