‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that just when we thought that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) would finally meet her biological mother, she doesn’t show up. Amanda has been fighting herself about this moment and thinking about if she should even attempt to connect with this woman, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like she made the right choice.
After finally calling and speaking to her mother, she wanted to meet. This would either be a great form of closure for Amanda to finally know why her mother gave her up and why she went into the system, unlike her twin sister. Or, they may form a relationship… Either way, it would help Amanda deal with this part of her life.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) Biological Mother Bails – “I’m Not Ready”
Unfortunately for Amanda, she received a text from her mother saying, “I don’t think I can do this. I’m not ready.”, making her anxious wait even worse by realizing she wasn’t coming.
This storyline was kind of pressured on us after we found out that Amanda was Hilary’s twin, and feels like a way to force her and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) together, where they otherwise may not have spent as much time together.
Since this revelation, Amanda has been practically begging to spend time with Devon to hear about Hilary and even invited him to come along to see her mom outside her house. I have a feeling this storyline isn’t going to end without Devon and Amanda somehow being together. A lot of fans aren’t thrilled about the idea and breaking up Devon and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) was a heartbreaker.
