‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for January 4th reveal there might be a bit of dissention in the Corinthos home. It seems the new year is getting off to an interesting start, and it all begins with Portia. In what’s likely to be the first of many confrontations today, Portia tells Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) she has to speak to Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) before he’s released.
We have a feeling this won’t go very well, because she takes Jordan to task. And why not? She’s helped put a lot of people through a lot of pain, and mostly because she and Marcus couldn’t own up to what they’d done and be straight with people. It’s likely to take a long time for either of them to be forgiven.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For January 4: Nosy
Elsewhere, it looks like Alexis Davis (Nancy lee Grahn) is getting involved in someone else’s business. In the promo, she asks, “Have you two fallen in love?” She and Ava come face to face Monday, so this is likely directed at her and the changed relationship between her and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Since he’s possibly one of the few people who might still be talking to Alexis, we can see where she might feel the need to question things, and maybe even look out for him. Knowing how she’s been since she started drinking, though, we have a feeling this might also turn into an ugly moment.

In other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will promise he’s going to take “her” away, whether “she” likes it or not. This could go two ways.
We know there’s no other option but him wanting to get Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) the heck out of this town. However, whether he means Joss objecting, or Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) remains to be seen.
Apparently, this talk with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Wators) leads her to give surprising advice, so we assume she won’t agree. She did advocate pretty hard for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to stay part of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) life.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For January 4: Families in war
Finally, there’s the mob war. It seems Laura Webber (Genie Francis) needs Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) to give her leverage against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He might be less than forthcoming with her, because she’ll dig deeper into the relationship between the two.
As for Cyrus, the promo features him saying, “This is all you, isn’t it?” He’s supposed to confront Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so he obviously believes Jason is the one who took Florence Grey (Anne Collings).
He couldn’t be more wrong. We can’t help but wonder what Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might have to say when he returns. Well, whenever he gets his memory back.
We have an idea, though. See, Carly tells Jason, “We needed leverage, and now we have it.” This makes us believe Jason thinks she made a huge mistake by nabbing Cyrus’ mom.
And he and Sonny are usually in agreement with business stuff. Plus, let’s face it, Jason is far more involved and qualified than Carly to make any business-related calls.
