Netflix’s ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ has been one of the biggest shows on the streaming service and recently launched their second season featuring several terrifying and unsolved cases. But how do they decide on which cases they are going to share with us?

There are a ton of different things they look at, from age, type of case, location, setting, race, and more! In the clip below you can hear directly from the show’s co-creator as she describes how they go about the creation of the series and more!

“Suspicious deaths, missing children, encounters with spirits and other true-life tales unfold in a new collection of unsolved mysteries. Take a closer look at how the team behind Unsolved Mysteries selects the cases they feature.”

Viewers commented on the clip, “I really like this series but it also makes me mad. So much corruption, discrimination and unfair treatment from the police. The reason why these cases are still unsolved is because of the police.”, “Back in the 80s I used to watch this show. It freaked me out especially the supernatural / paranormal ones.” and “I love these. I’m always hopeful that offenders can be brought to justice. I do feel, at times, that Police are their own worst enemies. So much laziness, corruption and deceit.”.

Even you can have an impact on the series and what cases get selected by submitting them to their website.
