On the last episode of 90 Day Fiancé, we saw Yvette Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed battling it out over her converting to the Islamic religion. From what viewers have seen so far, it is clear that either she didn’t do enough research about his religion or he was not transparent about what he wanted from her as far as converting. Now, two years later, they are at a crossroads where he thinks she should convert and she tells him that she will never convert.
90 Day Fiancé: The Newest Drama
In a clip for the new episode of the show, we will see Mohamed and Yvette checking in about what is next for them in their relationship. Mohamed feels that she doesn’t have to convert, but he does expect her to show some respect for him and his beliefs.
90 Day Fiancé: Yvette Arellano Has More Concerns About Mohamed Abdelhamed and Wanting Her to Convert
This means him controlling what she is wearing. He tells her that she has known him now for two years and she knows what he believes. He asks her if he hid anything about his religion from her and she looks very uncomfortable during this chat.
She tells him, “I want you to accept who I am. Do you accept that I am an American woman and that I’m not Islamic and I’m not Muslim?” He tells her that all she wants to do is point out the fact that he is trying to control her and that is not at all what she is getting at.
She tells him that she needs things clarified for her and he tells her that her friends are the ones that have gotten into her head and they are the ones pushing these issues.
Yvette tells him that he is being rude and disrespectful to her and her friends and it is not true what he is saying about them. She tells the cameras, “Mohamed and I, over the last two years, never talked about the specifics of like, what he expects of me because of his culture and religion.”
He tells her that she is not right. “She went to the same city I was living in four times and that’s who I am. It was very clear.” She tells him, “That’s not reality. We were on vacation. I didn’t get to see the day in and day out of how a person would like normally act.”
It is clear that these two are not on the same page at all. We will have to see what happens next on 90 Day Fiancé on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on TLC to see how this ends.
