’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells that we know that there was a third Singh sibling that was a girl and that she passed away, as it turns out the girl passed away as an infant whe she was 8 months old of jaundice, and that Sumit’s wife was thought of as the surrogate daughter we have a better understanding of why Sumit’s Mom hates Jenny so much.
But on the upcoming preview for 90 day fiancé the other way, Sumit gives even more nuance to the situation at hand. He says that growing up, his Dad was a firm believer in the ‘happiy wife happy life’ way of living and that anything the Mom wanted he would instantly submit to – something that it seems he passed on to the kids ultimately.

It seems that as a result of this epic tragedy that Sumit and his family really don’t discuss hard or heavy topics with each other anymore. You can tell Sumit loves his Mom when he says that he thinks her love is so big for him that she doesn’t think that there’s any other way to be but her way.
However, that’s not healthy, a parent may want their child to do a certain thing but once they reach adulthood, everything is a choice, including wanting to maintain contact with the parents. Sumit is not the type to go no-contact because he is pretty deeply enmeshed in his family dynamic, but honestly if he did the guy might be happier.
As it is, currently Jenny is trying to get Sumit to bring up a tough topic with his family. We know that last week he previously suggested that Jenny be allowed to hang out with them during family events as part of the family, to which his brother, Ahmit, was quick to say that she could only hang out as a friend of Sumit’s and not be considered part of the family.
Even his brother’s wife, Shree, echoed that sentiment and she seems to be largely uninvolved with the situation. We don’t know if this is still the order of the day, or if they have finally decided to bite the bullet and try to get Sumit into the US.
I kind of doubt the latter because Jenny is in love with India but at the same time she is tired of traveling back and forth and it was soeculatrd last year that she and Sumit were together in the US. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
