’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that that Mike Youngquist was going to ride off into the sunset in Big Blue, twirling his mustache and leaving poor Natalie without a way home at the hospital, he realized just what a douche he was being and turned around and came back to pick her up.
I’m not sure if maybe the Producers talked him into, I don’t know, not making himself into a cartoon villain or maybe Jiminy Cricket appeared and started telling him that if he didn’t go pick up Natalie then he might be in violation of his TLC contract and he wouldn’t get to keep all that precious money that he wants Natalie to make. So much like Gollum on Mount Doom, Mike turned around and went back to get the pre–er–Natalie.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Last minute change of heart
By the time he got back, Natalie was just waking up from surgery so the poor girl didn’t even know that he had taken the truck for a joyride while she was under. It was also dark by the time she got out so I’m guessing it took them a lot longer than 30 minutes to get her out. Of course this was filmed back in December of 2020, so that would probably explain why it got dark so quickly.
Natalie said when she got out of the doctor’s that she could finally smell, which is good. Actually, that may be a bad thing because now she can smell Mike’s smelly closet again so that could be a future point of contention.
However, right now, Mike’s made it a point to not be a jerk, so let’s count this as a win for Natalie, at least. Right now she has someone to make her dinner after surgery which is a good thing, and she has someone to help her recover.
Now after she recovers, that’ll be a different story and I’m pretty sure that next week they’ll be at it again, duking it out just as fiercely as ever, but right now, the guy that Natalie originally saw something in is back, it seems, and that’s a good thing for her, since she’s recovering… however we’ll just see how long he sticks around. Stay tuned!!!
