’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Mahogany Roca’s Dad gave her some invaluable advice. Instead of giving Ben Rathbun a chance and hearing him out, her Dad decided to give ol’ Ben a taste of his own medicine.
Instead of showing up at the appointed time, he sent Ben a letter, via Mahogany, and told Ben that he could not make it to their meeting because he had received an important phone call. However, both he and Mahogany thought that Ben was clearly being disrespectful of their time and let’s face it – he was.

Mahogany is surprisingly mature for a 22 year old and recognized Ben’s mind games for exactly what they were – mind games! She said that in real life Ben did not come off as mature as he did over text, and she wasn’t wrong at all. Ben let it slip that he wanted to feel wanted and he wanted to make Mahogany miss him.
Mahogany was pretty surprised by that statement and wondered why, and indeed, it’s a legitimate question, why does he feel the need to be missed this early in the relationship? They haven’t been together that long, their relationship is fairly new and should be in the fun stage, not bogged down by whatever baggage that Ben is carrying from his previous marriage.
Mahogany also admitted that she was turned off by the fact that Ben did not get along with his ex-wife and she said that in her opinion that showed a lack of maturity. Granted, she hasn’t met Ben’s ex-wife, but she has met Ben so maybe she sees why his ex-wife would be done with him after awhile.
Her Dad told her that he felt that she deserved more than Ben, and this was after he felt disrespected by his prospective future son-in-law, honestly… it’s the best advice anyone could have given young Mahogany. You couldn’t help but feel a little bad for her after she left the table after leaving the letter with Ben, she exclaimed “Oh my God!” after leaving and you could audibly her her relief, like she had dodged a hail of bullets.
Ben said that it was Mahogany who had made the relationship difficult while in Peru, but honestly, Mahogany was just acting defensively, Ben was the one that made things difficult by acting too serious and rather creepy first thing. Poor girl. It doesn’t look like they’re going to be together, but stranger things have happened. Stay tuned!!!
