’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers tells: Quelle Surprise! Or, to quote Iago from the OG Aladdin here, “I think I’m gonna have a heart attack and die from not surprise!” Man, you can already tell this is going to be a mess on the tell-all.
Sumit and his family had a huge knock-down drag-out fight over his relationship with Jenny, he cried and wailed to his parents that the only reason that he was still alive was because of Jenny. At that point, as a Mom, I would’ve had some sympathy for him, and laid off and realized that it was not about me any longer that it was a out my son and his happiness, but Sahna is one Indian Karen that takes the actual cake when it comes to how relationships work and her son.

She does not recognize him as an adult and pulled the uber abusive “I’m going to kill myself right here if you marry her.” card. Now it looks like Sumit’s Dad should have stepped in here and said something, but no, he let her get away with it.

So Sumit compromised and said that he wouldn’t marry Jenny because he didn’t want his Mom to kill herself. Statistically, I hate to tell Sumit, but it’s usually the people who never say anything at all who actually end up committing the deed, not the ones who scream about it in their son’s living room.
She said its the age that matters, honestly, I think this Karen just wants her son living at home with her all of his life. At this point he has been married before and he was absolutely miserable and I am pretty sure it was because his Mom and Dad were on him constantly to “start a family” because they just look like the type.
The thing is even if Sumit does end up moving on from Jenny eventually, there is going to be no one that he is going to feel comfortable enough to start a family with because that person will never have the same part of his heart that Jenny has.
Sumit strikes me as a guy who is very shy and probably felt really comfortable around Jenny, enough to want to spend the rest of his life with her. But his Mother and Father cannot see what a beautiful thing they have simply because Jenny is not some ideal of the perfect Indian woman that they had envisioned for their son.
If Sumit never ends up having a family, they can give themselves a hearty pat on the back for that because they accomplished exactly what they wanted. Sumit can also give himself a round of applause if he ends up in another relationship arranged by his parents where he’s not comfortable because he cannot seem to man up and just go to the temple where the lawyer told him to go and just get married already!
This outburst and entire confrontation could have been prevented, but no, he ran smack dab into the fire like an idiot!
I could see Sahna’s theatrics if Jenny had been a convicted felon or something, but Jenny is literally one of those people who has never really done anything wrong besides be born during a different decade than their son. This is absolutely ludicrous! Sumit could do a lot worse.
Come home, Jenny, you don’t need this in your life. Even though Sumit said he would get her citizenship, I have my doubts. Stay tuned!!!
