’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Brandon Gibb, at first glance, was a starry-eyed farmboy who found love overseas with a beautiful russian dancer named Julia Trubkina. They met on a dating site, fell in love, and now Julia has come all the way to the US just to be with him.
They had a few ups and downs, like Julia not liking farm life and her protesting the sleeping arrangements (which she eventually got changed to suit her liking, but she had to threaten to run back to Russia first), but what we didn’t realize was that this love story may be a lot more orchestrated than we ever expected.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Why there is no hope for Brandon
Brandon’s parents can gripe all they want about Julia, but the thing is, rumor has it they are the ones that started this whole thing by signing up Brandon on the dating site. That’s right, they are the ones that originally signed up Brandon on the dating site where he eventually met their future daughter-in-law.
The same future daughter-in-law that they continually villify. I’m hoping that when they’re involvement ended and they didn’t help “pick out” Julia on the dating site like a brand new puppy. (Although something tells me that Betty would have been down for that.)
If rumor is to be believed, then Julia is also Brandon’s first girlfriend, which means, before this he has had virtually no relationship experience. This is probably the reason Brandon fumbles so much, but that’s not to excuse his behavior.
Betty said that she was sure that he had some sexual experience before Julia, because of the evidence she had found in the hot tub but apparently there was no emotional connection because there were no girlfriends before Julia.
It makes one wonder though, why was Brandon thought of as so undesirable in the local circles that his own parents had to sign him up on an international dating site? I mean, did the local girls just not want to deal with the family, or was Brandon spewing his toxic douche ways in social circles long before he decided to diss Julia’s wedding plans?
