A fan started it for him in order to get money to get custody of his son, but as we watch the fundraiser, it hasn’t grown at all. The $50,000 that he needs is not close at all! He has only raised about $3,000 right now and he has a long way to go.
Many fans think that this fundraiser has completely failed and that there is no way he will be able to raise the right amount of money by the time everything is ready to go. Some of his fans told him straight up that he needs to work more to get the money.

It looks as if Jihoon is trying his best to get in touch with lawyers in Utah to help him with this battle. According to him, he is working very hard to raise the money and he can make enough money with his jobs to pay for the fees. So why is he pushing his fans to help him by donating money?
Jihoon has already hired a lawyer to help him, but he won’t work hard on his case until he is paid a specific amount of money. If the paperwork isn’t filed soon, Jihoon will lose all control of seeing his son and will never be able to fight for custody again.

From Jihoon’s time on the show, fans have seen him as very lazy and not seeming to care about work or money. This was part of the reason that Deavan Clegg left him.
She was told by Jihoon that he had a good job that could support their family and that is why she moved back to South Korea.
When she got there, he told her that he had lied about the new job all together. Of course, Jihoon’s followers were quick to slam him for promoting this GoFundme page.
One fan wrote, “Jihoon needs a job and to be a grown man. He did nothing while he had the chance. I don’t feel bad for him at all. Stop begging, get a job and save money like the rest of us.”
One more fan chimed in, “Get a second job or even a third one and fight for your son yourself instead of relying on strangers to finance you.”
