’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal there is a rumor currently circulating online that Paul and Karine Staehle’s two little boys have been adopted. It would seem that the “adoptive” parents are already posting memory books and the like, however, let’s just break down the facts about adoption here.
Oftentimes, what will happen in cases like Paul and Karine’s, where neither parent is consider a safe option by the state and there is no available family for the children to go to, the state will round up foster parents. Foster parents are just that, adults who are in charge of a child until their parents can get back on their feet and remedy their circumstances in order to be thought of as ‘safe’ by the state.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Have Paul and Karine’s children been adopted?
Sometimes, a foster parent will end up adopting a child. In Karine and Paul’s case… it’s a bit up in the air because Karine, last time we heard anything was in a precarious situation, Paul had threatened her life. Paul on the other hand is allegedly on the run trying to evade the law, trekking from Pennsylvania down to Florida and back again.
It had been mentioned before that the children were in the custody of Paul’s Mother, but it would seem that that turned out to be just a rumor and when the state got involved they chose a party who wasn’t involved to take the children.
In these cases, that’s quite often for the best, we wouldn’t want the little boys to get caught in any kind of crossfire of Paul and Karine’s issues with each other. There was some rather unsavory things circulating about Paul’s past back when he was on Happily Ever After about how locals dubbed him “creepy Paul” and how he had set his ex-girlfiend’s car on fire and basically been a menace to society on the whole.
As for Karine, she went unmedicated due to pregnancy and nursing for awhile with bi-polar disorder, which is difficult on its best days, so at least for right now, the little ones are in a place that’s stable. As for actual adoption, the process takes years, for now, this is foster care. We at DSD will keep an eye on the situation. Stay tuned!!!
