Just when we thought all was lost for Usman Umar and Kim Menzies on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, we learned that his family has finally given him the blessing to marry her. His family gave them the blessing in the form of a contract and Kim and Usman found out just what they want Kim to give up in order to be with him. It was pretty shocking, but at least they got the blessing, right?

When Usman’s family gave him the approval to marry Kim, they had a lot to add to the conditions of their marriage. He received a folder from his family with a note inside. Kim was shocked to see this and she was very nervous about what this contract would say about their marriage.

She told the cameras, “When Usman tells me that his family has a note for me, I’m like, what the f**k is going on? I’m thinking in my head- this has to be a whole new set of demands. This whole situation is terrifying.”
As she read the note and the blessing contract, she realized that it was all about Usman and his duties to his family, even when he moves to the states. The contract told them that Usman does need to be able to take a second wife and have kids with her.
Kim has already agreed to this, so that wasn’t a big shock. It also mentioned that if he does move to the states, he will have to come back to see his family quarterly. As the couple read the contract, they both realized that this meant that they could get married and they had the official blessing. This was great news for them both!
Kim told the cameras, “I’ve never felt so completely in love with somebody as I do at this moment with Usman. I just want to go home and drink and sleep now-I’m just so tired.”
When Usman’s mother talked to the cameras, she said, “I have given up for now. Since she has pleaded several times, I see that she has a good attitude. But I implore that he should visit home every three months to marry another girl here so that I may have grandchildren.”
We do hope that everything works out well for Kim and Usman and we will continue to keep an eye on them on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After on TLC on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST.
