Because that felt like the way Usman was treating it, it felt like this was one of those “win a trip to meet your favorite rapper” contest held by local radio stations back in the day and Usman honestly treated Kim not like the girlfriend that she expected him to treat her like, but instead he treated her like an elevated fan.
There was a lot of things that Usman neglected to tell her, like the song “Zara” was about an actual woman he dated and not just “all the Zaras throughout the world”.

It seems that Kim really put a lot of stock into this relationship as well, she got him a lot of stuff, custom made jewelry and all kinds of expensive gifts and then when Kim discovered that he had been talking to other women she was visibly upset and confronted him… only to have Usman laugh at her, clearly this was the wrong thing to do because it triggered Kim to toss a drink in his face.
Kim said it reminded her of her ex husband who used to come in with lipstick on his collar and phone numbers all in his pocket and laughing at Kim saying that she didn’t know what she was talking about… Kim’s response was a legit trauma response.
However, Usman finally admitted that Kim reminded him a great deal of his ex-wife, Baby Girl Lisa Hamme… and we can see the parallels, but it took Kim much longer to take it to 11 than Baby Girl Lisa did. Lisa came out of the gate swinging at the very beginning, with Kim, she at least gave him the benefit of the doubt before she threw a drink in his face, and as far as we know never resorted to racial epithets.
Unlike Baby Girl Lisa, it was clear to see from the beginning that Usman did not take anything he had with Kim seriously and we all felt a little bad for her because it seemed like he was just doing a contest for his biggest fan for clout. Was it worth it for him? Since he said “have a safe trip” we guess that’s debatable. Stay tuned!!!
