’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal that Angela Deem Illesanmi didn’t get to talk to her daughter or any of her Grandkids before surgery, which is a little disconcerting.
Her daughter knew that there was a chance that she wouldn’t make it through the surgery, thankfully it seems that Angela has made it through the surgery (so far there has been no ‘in memoriam’ posts and Angela’s social media is still active) but if I were her daughter I’d feel pretty bad that I didn’t answer my phone before my Mom was going into surgery.

There is a chance that Skyla couldn’t handle the thought of her Mom having surgery and just turned off her phone. There’s also the possibility that one of the kids took priority over a phone call at the moment, but Angela tried to call them several times on the way in to surgery. Were the Grandkids not wondering why they didn’t get to talk to Grandma before she went in for surgery?
At least Michael answered his phone but then again, you’d expect that, after all, he has some investment on the outcome of this surgery. (An investment that Dr. Obeng assured him would be safe in his phone call with him.)
Still, one has to wonder where on earth Skyla actually was during her Mom’s surgery and if there isn’t a little animosity there. We didn’t really hear much from Skyla, just the kids, and maybe she doesn’t want to be on camera, that’s okay, but it seems that she would make an exception to tak to her Mom before a serious procedure.
Maybe she thought that Angela having the surgery was excessive, or maybe she just got ticked off that Grandma wasn’t going to be around to babysit for the next 6 or so weeks.
Not that there’s been any indication of that so far, so far Skyla’s pretty much taken it like a champ when her Mom goes off to Nigeria to see Michael, but since we really haven’t heard from Skyla, we don’t know if perhaps, she’s a little tired of Mom being gone and not having any help with the kids. I mean, caregivers have their breaking point too. I guess we’ll find out later. Stay tuned!!!
