We have seen Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise going through some tough times now that Kobe is in Kansas with her. He has finally gotten to meet their son, Koban and it does seem as if Kobe is trying really hard to get closer to him. Kobe hasn’t been around his son and Koban has yet to warm up to him. He is feeling really let down about this, but viewers think things will turn around.

Emily and Kobe have had plenty of arguments and many of them are about Koban. Kobe ended up having to sleep in the guest room because Koban wanted to sleep in the bed with Emily. Kobe is trying to stay positive about everything and Emily shows him how to brush Koban’s teeth.

Emily is just trying to accommodate Koban first and doesn’t seem to want to accommodate Kobe though. Emily feels like she has such a good routine as a parent and Kobe is trying and she stands over him the whole time he’s changing his diapers and trying to take care of him. She is set in her ways but is looking pretty judgemental while they are getting ready.
Emily wants to show Kobe around Salina so that he gets a good idea of what there is to do there. Kobe wants to drive and she refuses to let him do so. He says he is a much better driver than her, but she won’t let him drive with Koban in the car.
He tells her that he is not pleased by the way that she is acting and that she has changed a lot. Kobe tells the cameras, “Emily has planned everything and she wants me to fill in the space. I’m not that kind of person. I set my own rules and I live by those rules as a man.”
The couple drives them downtown and he asks if they have any clubs. She tells him that they have bars, but no clubs. He is thinking about a big city, but this is not the place he thought it would be. She then drives them around to the wealthier neighborhoods and they talk about getting a dream home together one day.
Kobe brings up the fact that he doesn’t even know if he’s in the right place right now. He wants to know that they are on the same page and trying to make this work.
