On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, there have been a lot of fans concerned about Usman Umar’s real motives with Kim Menzies. Now that she is in Nigeria with him and trying to get his mother’s blessing so that they can get married, fans of the show are starting to really wonder what it is that he wants or needs from her.
She is getting ready to propose to him and spend the rest of her life with him, but there has been a lot of talk about what is really going on in his head.

It didn’t take long for Redditors to get started on how they really feel about Usman. One wrote, “It’s pretty clear that Usman’s goal is to get a green card and he only really cares about advancing his career, but why does he always go after the older women? I feel like he wouldn’t have that difficult of a time finding someone near his age to bring him to the states, so why did he choose Kim?”

Another Reddit user added, “They’re much more desperate and willing to put up with his constant lying and ego, but I think Kimberly is way more work than he was expecting!” One more added, “I just wonder what his plan is though if he’s actually trying to find a second wife outside of the US. Wouldn’t that just complicate things even more? If he was really just using her for a green card, wouldn’t he just tell her he didn’t care about having kids?”
More and more Redditors commented on this post and one brought up the fact that he chooses older women because they can’t get pregnant, so when they get married and he gets a green card, he can leave them and not feel that bad about it. Then these Redditors brought up the producers.
One wrote, “I can totally picture this actually. Producers telling him this is the direction we need your storyline to follow. Please find another desperate lady in her late 50s or 60s and we’ll up your salary from the previous season.”
For Kim’s sake, we really do hope that Usman loves her and does really want to marry her for their love. We will just have to wait and see what happens next though.
