TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers tease that Darcey was definitely feeling the effects of quarantine when she called Georgi. She said she was worried about him and his family back in Bulgaria. Obviously, she underestimated the effect of COVID-19 and just how much it would effect her life.
Darcey wanted him to come quarantine with her (obviously) because, well, I mean, it’s only natural. She saw that Stacey had Florian and wanted a little bit of that for herself, okay, we get it. That’s totally fair. But Georgi turned that offer down because he said he didn’t want to endanger anyone so he said that he would be quarantining for the next one to two weeks.
TLC ’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Darcey was very disappointed to hear that.
Her face literally fell when he turned her down. She thought that was going to be one big COVID cuddle party I guess (being completely fair to Darcey, I’m not judging her for wanting her significant other around it’s just… pandemic!), but Georgi, being a completely practical guy, shut that down and told her that that wasn’t happening.
I’m kind of glad that he exhibited some restraint instead of trying to meet Darcey’s demands and going to meet her during the middle of a pandemic. Gotta say that at least Darcey picked a guy with a good head on his shoulders and he didn’t try to endanger her or her family by traveling to see them. Whether he keeps a good head on his shoulders remains to be seen but at least health-wise he seems to have the right ideas.
Of his family in Bulgaria, he said that COVID-19 was bad there too and that they were suffering as well. He didn’t say whether anyone in his family had come down with it though so I’m guessing they didn’t they were just highly inconvenienced by the quarantine restrictions in place like the rest of the world.
He didn’t say he was staying away for the duration, he just said he was staying away for the next week or two. So fortunately for Darcey it looks like their separation is just temporary. Still, on a sheerly human level, you have to feel for the girl. Will Darcey and Georgi be reunited soon? Stay tuned!!!
