On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs have started house hunting. Fans of the show are curious about how the hunt went, because many of them think that it was all staged.
This feeds into the theory that TLC does have a tendency to stage some episodes, but this looks like it went a little further than usual.
90 Day Fiancé: The House Hunt
Julia and Brandon want to move out of his parents’ farm more than anything at this point. There has been so much stress in their marriage because of their living situation and now it seems that they have started to look for a new home.
One of the first tours that they go on is in a three-bedroom apartment. The rent on it is $1,800 a month and although Julia loves it, Brandon wasn’t sure that he could afford this price.

After looking at this apartment, the couple decided that they now had a better idea of what the other wants in a living space, but they did keep going. There were some viewers that admitted that the couple has “champagne taste on a beer budget.”
Another shared, “EVERY couple on this show always house hunts and looks at places that are too expensive, it’s part of the show’s fakery.”
This isn’t the first time that we have seen couples shop for homes on 90 Day Fiancé. We have seen couples looking for homes together and clearly the costs are unrealistic for their incomes, especially when one of them doesn’t work because they don’t have a work permit yet. There are many ins and outs to this and it seems that Julia and Brandon are not part of it.
Viewers were shocked to see just how the couple hunted for new homes. The show did seem a bit scripted because of the bizarre questions they asked and the way the realtors acted. Fans if the show also felt as if Julia was being too complicated with her idea of what she wanted from a new home.
We will continue to keep an eye on the home they choose. You can watch them on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. It airs on Sunday nights on TLC at 8 p.m. EST. You can also check them out on their Instagram accounts. Some fans think that they have shown some hints of their new home on their social media accounts so keep an eye on that as well.
