’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells us that, when Julia Trubkina Gibb met hubby Brandon Gibb’s friend, Melanie, the green-eyed monster within was awakened. She didn’t like the fact that Brandon had friends who were girls from his past. She didn’t like the way he paid attention to Melanie instead of her and the way they talked about old times together.
Also, Melanie made a huge mistake by asking her if she was just there for the greencard. Brandon was trying to get Melanie and Julia together to be besties, but Julia really didn’t see it that way, especially after her xenophobic line of questioning. Innocent until proven guilty is still a thing, you know.

Also it was clear that Melanie was far more interested in hanging out with Brandon than she was with building a bond with Julia, which I think was one of Julia’s triggers. Usually if a woman is interested in being the wife’s friend, she will talk to the wife, and get to know her, not talk over her to her husband and forget that her own boyfriend is sitting right beside her.
(I would like to know what Melanie’s boyfriend’s thoughts were about this.) We see the correct approach when we saw Yara and Julia interact on the 90 day fiance tell-all. Yara approached Julia first and showed no interest in Brandon whatsoever, whereas Melanie was all about Brandon.
This is what made Julia hit the roof. Of course she’s going to hit the roof because she thinks that a history with a girl means that he and Melanie were once involved and that she wants him back. Also, Melanie is not married, she has a boyfriend but she is not married.
That probably also had something to do with Julia getting as jealous as she did as well. However, Brandon didn’t expect Julia to take it to the level that she did when they got into a fight and literally move out of their room!
Fortunately, she was able to be talked down and she did end up saying that while their relationship was not perfect it was just something they needed to work through together, and that she would try to not be as jealous. But can she really keep that promise? And were Brandon and Melanie ever really invovled as more than friends? Inquiring minds want to know. Stay tuned!!!
