Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way have a lot of love for Armando Rubio and his story. His parents are very conservative Mexicans and have never felt that his relationship with his fiancé, who is a man, was real. They pushed him away over and over again and simply blew off the fact that he was in love and happy with a man.
Now that he is planning his wedding, things are starting to come out because he does want his parents at the wedding. In the last episode of the show, he wanted to talk to his father about the wedding and his relationship.

There are many things that Armando has opened up about lately and now he is sharing more about his relationship with his father. His father has had such a hard time with his son’s sexuality and it has been clear to viewers and to Armando. Their relationship is struggling pretty badly, but Armando wants a change. In the last episode of the show, we saw a new side of Armando’s father.
Armando wanted to sit down and talk to his father and went right in about how he just wanted to be honest with his father. He told him everything that was going on in his life and with his wedding. His father started to get emotional and then told him that he was proud of him and he was ready to accept him for who he is. Of course, fans were quick to start talking about how this scene really made their hearts melt.
One fan wrote, “I have goosebumps. You would have felt my sigh of relief all the way from Australia.” Another fan wrote, “I’m not crying, you’re crying.” The comments just kept going too. One more fan wrote, “I respect his dad, it’s not easy for him to accept it but he’s trying and in his own time.”
We are so happy that Armando’s father has finally started to realize that his son is happy. It looks as if he just needed some time to think about things and has come back around. We hope that he will be at the wedding and that he can become closer to Armando’s husband. This has got to be a complete relief for them as they move on in their lives.
