After being essentially separated with no communication during this time, it is only after he is caught with another woman that Ari comes crawling back. This rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way with many concluding that Ari is a lot more toxic than she lets on.

In the latest episode of The Last Resort, the couples have a sex therapy session. Each of the couples must explore which parts of their bodies arouse them through the touches of a paintbrush.
However, Bini isn’t at all comfortable during this activity. With every touch that Ari gives, he responds with the safe word, “Red light.” But Ari isn’t convinced and continuously denies Bini. “I’ve had sex with you so many times. This is not a red light.”
The problem with this scene is that Ari is directly going against Bini’s consent. Whether she believes him or not doesn’t matter. If he wants to stop, he wants to stop. If the genders were reversed, more people would have had problems with this scene.
