46th Daytime Emmy Awards: Winners, How and Where To Watch + Much More Info!

About the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards: Here is everything you need to know.

When: This year, the National Academy of Arts and Sciences has reported that the Daytime Emmy Awards are going to be held on Sunday, April 5th at 8PM EST, and that they Daytime Creative Arts Emmys will be held two days earlier on Friday, April 3rd.

Where: Both Award shows are being held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Chuck Dages, chairman of NATAS said in 2017 about the change of venue, “The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is excited to be moving our signature show to the historic Pasadena Civic Center, with its grand lobby and world-class architecture, it is a fitting location for the Daytime Emmy Awards”

How to Watch: If you can’t go in person, which is usually the best way to catch this show (tickets available here: https://www1.ticketmaster.com/event/0B005646C2363DB6?dma_id=345 ), then you can watch it on a variety of social media, including the Official Emmy Youtube page (youtube.com/theemmys), the official website of the Emmys at emmyonline.tv. Also, the Emmy’s facebook page (facebook.com/TheEmmys) and the official Daytime Emmy Awards facebook page (facebook.com/DaytimeEmmyAwards) will be livestreaming them as well as the Emmys (twitter.com/TheEmmys) and Daytime Emmy’s Twitter accounts (twitter.com/DaytimeEmmys).

Who is Nominated: For the first time in five years, NATAS has decided not to publicly release the actor submission reels for their daytime Emmy award nominations due to the rule breaking fiasco of last year. However some stars have talked about what they submitted. You can however, find a list of the nominees here (https://www.abc.soapsindepth.com/posts/daytime-emmy-awards-2019-nominations- 169374 ), and the two major categories were announced on The Talk (CBS) on March 20th. Lifetime achievements, anyone?: Unfortunately, no soap stars are nominated for a lifetime achievement award this year. (Maybe next year, fam!) It was announced that during the Creative Arts Ceremonies that Jacques Pepin of cooking show fame won a Lifetime Achievement Award, along with Judge Judith Sheindlin of the famed Judge Judy tv series.
