‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers admit that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) know that something is amiss with Sonny’s bipolar medication.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Violently Beat Up Dex
Carly recently urged Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to get his blood levels checked to see if his dosage needed to be readjusted.
Of course, Sonny promptly told her he could care for himself and threw her out of his penthouse. Carly knows Sonny hasn’t acted like himself, and she and Jason immediately suspect that his medicine is off.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tampered with Sonny’s medicine and made a deal with the pharmacist to ensure he didn’t receive the proper dose.
His goal is for Sonny to have a manic spiral down the tubes and for him to lose control of his business. He also wants to eliminate Jason and pin the crime on Sonny. Unfortunately, Valentin’s evil plan is coming to fruition.
At Brook Lynn Quartermaine‘s (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase‘s (Josh Swickard) wedding reception, he turned violent on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Sonny beat the living daylights out of him, and Jason had to hold him back from killing him.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) witnessed the monstrous act, and she’s terrified for and of her father. Once Sonny realized his daughter saw him mauling and threatening to kill Dex and Jason, he was horrified.
Jason called Carly, who showed up to help Sonny. He told her that he didn’t know if anyone loved him anymore. Carly and Jason will start putting the puzzle together and figure out his medicine was altered.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason And Carly to The Rescue
Fortunately for Valentin, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the perfect scapegoat. She messed with Morgan Corinthos‘s (Bryan Craig) medication a few years ago and was indirectly responsible for his death.
Valentin found out from Sonny’s pharmacist that she was poking around, asking all kinds of questions about Sonny’s medicine, insinuating that she was onto him.
However, Ava has an agenda with Sonny. She’s already had the pills tested at a lab and discovered he’s not on the correct dose of medication but has elected not to fill him in on this important bit of information, instead seeking to isolate him and win his affections, his business, or maybe both.
Sonny is oblivious to his faulty prescription and is taking the pills faithfully. But Carly sees the truth. She’s one of the few people who can help Sonny come out from the dark side. Carly has seen him at rock bottom and helped him see the light.
Now Sonny is at his lowest point again, and she will have an a-ha moment and realize what’s going on. Of course, Ava will be blamed, and Valentin will gladly let her take the fall. Carly and Jason must learn the whole story.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is building a case against Sonny, and time is running out for the mafia boss. Someone needs to step up and prove he’s been framed to get the help he needs. Jason and Carly know Sonny better than anyone, and they may be the key to saving him.
