‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will entrust Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about his breakup with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Believes Jason Is Working As a Mercenary
Dex will also see Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) picture and realize he knows him from the military. He lets Anna know that he knows Jason.
Dex has heard about Jason’s unyielding loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He has difficulty believing that Jason will ever turn on the mafia boss.
He sees the picture, which jogs his memory back to when he was in the military. Dex says he knows him and thinks that Jason may be involved in mercenary work the same way he was.
Dex gives Anna some insight about what it’s like to be forced to do a job you don’t want to do. Anna knows Dex used to work for Sonny, so maybe this will lead to him confessing to almost killing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) for Sonny.
Anna also believes that Jason is innocent and shares with Dex that forensic proof has concluded that Jason has also been wounded, along with Sonny’s son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
But Dex is not buying that Jason is the one who is really after Sonny. He thinks that Jason was coerced with some very potent leverage. Dex tells Anna he saw Jason at various jobs and thinks he can help Anna with the investigation.
Dex may be able to pinpoint different places and time frames where he came in contact with Jason. Maybe Dex could play an integral role in proving Jason’s innocence, and Dex wins Sonny’s trust again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Helps Anna Prove Jason’s Innocence
Together, Dex and Anna could come up with proof that Jason administered first aid and called 911, potentially saving his life.
When Dex and Josslyn got to the docks, someone tied a sweatshirt around Dante’s gunshot wound. They had elevated his legs, and a phone was left with a 911 operator on the other end.
The blood samples on the sweatshirt will be revealed as Jason’s. However, they will wonder why Jason was on the roof of Sonny’s warehouse with the sniper, Hamish Hampton (Chris Gann).
Speaking of which, there should be some answers about the dead sniper and who shot him. That was never really discussed.
Dex will help with the discovery that Jason is working as a mercenary, and when Sonny finds out that Dex helped save Dante and helped clear Jason, he will be grateful.
Sonny may be wary of Dex’s motives initially, but he will appreciate that Dex stood up for the truth, which made him realize that he could trust Dex.
Hopefully, in the end, Dex and Joss will get back together. Sonny will finally believe that Dex has pure intentions and will trust him again.
Dex sees Sonny as a father figure and tries to prove his loyalty once he starts working for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to protect Sonny.
Spoilers suggest that Jason and Dex know each other from the military. Sonny may eventually have two right-hand men working for him.
