‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep thing rolling as we get into hump day with some fun spoilery goodies for Wednesday, January 31.
There’s going to be some fun character development happening in this episode as we’re going to get some interesting schisms forming in family units not named Newman, and it should be fun to see how it unfolds.
There’s always something ready to go sideways in Genoa City, and we’re as ready as we can be with a big bucket of popcorn ready to go.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Kyle can’t handle it
Nothing like seeing the true spoiled brat that is Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) start to step out of his carefully crafted shell after his hope to be praised on backing his idea for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to be Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s co-CEO of Jabot didn’t work out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he expected Jack to appreciate his foresight and selflessness and then hand the job to him, but Jack had other plans.
Now, it looks like Kyle’s going to do some of Diane’s work and point it out to her as passive aggressively as possible.
The bad part that’ll cause some problems down the line will be Jack siding with Kyle and thinking it’s just Diane’s insecurity talking. After she went to bat for Kyle so many times and for him to lash out at her really shows how spoiled he is and needs to have his Abbott cash flow cut off.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers – Nikki’s fear ramps up
While her family is trying to keep the news about the fire at Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk)’s prison from her to spare her the stress, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will read about it and deal with it on her own.
This is going to blow up in everyone’s face so badly as the Newmans are trying to protect her and Jack’s appeasing her, and she’s the only one trying to take any accountability for what she’s done.
They all mean well, but the best way is most likely in the middle of the three perspectives.
In the meantime, she’s going to feel alone and not want to bother them with her problems while her stress will increase and possibly flare up her MS. Never mind all the alcohol should’ve messed with her medication and no one’s cared about that.
